ABOUT

A Digital Sanctuary for Black Fine Art

JMMTHOMPSON ART is a digital monograph and gallery dedicated to the work of Jacqueline MM Thompson — a painter, steward, and founder whose art is rooted in a deep and enduring love for Black people. The platform brings together a curated collection of museum-grade prints, each numbered and signed, alongside an archive of the artist's evolving practice in contemporary abstract portraiture.

The site is built for collectors, admirers, and anyone moved by the beauty, strength, and complexity of Black life. Whether you are seeking a masterwork for your wall or simply wish to experience the art and the stories behind it, this is a space designed to welcome you — with the reverence of a museum and the warmth of a living room.

Every piece on this site is created and stewarded by Jacqueline MM Thompson. From the studio known as BlkBird Wings — small, cluttered with ideas, and full of half-finished projects — she paints so that we remember ourselves, and so that we are remembered. This platform is the home for that work: a place where the people who have always been the subject of art become its stewards, its collectors, its keepers.
