Copyright & Print Terms

Last updated: September 2026. Please read carefully. This page outlines the ownership of the artwork shown on this site and the terms that apply when you purchase a print.

Copyright & Ownership of Artwork

All artwork, paintings, images, audio recordings, written descriptions, and other creative content displayed on this site are the original works of Jacqueline MM Thompson and are the property of JMMTHOMPSON ART. They are protected by United States and international copyright laws.

The artist retains all rights to the artwork, including the original works and all reproductions, in perpetuity. Purchasing a print does not transfer ownership of the copyright or grant any license to reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from the artwork.

You may not copy, download, screenshot, print, scan, photograph, alter, or otherwise reproduce any image on this site for any purpose — personal, commercial, or otherwise — without the express written permission of JMMTHOMPSON ART. Sharing a link to the site is always welcome; reposting the artwork itself is not.

The audio narration accompanying select pieces is provided for your personal enjoyment and accessibility. It may not be recorded, redistributed, or used outside of this site.

Print-on-Demand Terms

Prints offered through JMMTHOMPSON ART are museum-grade reproductions produced on a print-on-demand basis. Each print is made to order, numbered, and signed by the artist. Because every piece is produced individually, please allow time for creation and fulfillment before shipment.

Print orders are fulfilled through our external print partner. By placing an order, you agree to the terms and policies of that partner at the point of purchase, including their policies for payment, shipping, and returns. JMMTHOMPSON ART is not directly responsible for the partner's fulfillment processes, but we stand behind the quality of the work and will help resolve any issue that arises.

Every effort is made to represent the colors and detail of each artwork accurately on screen. However, monitors and screens vary, and slight differences between the on-screen image and the physical print may occur. These variations are a normal characteristic of fine art reproduction and are not considered defects.

Each print is a limited, numbered edition. The edition number you receive is assigned at the time of fulfillment and cannot be specified or guaranteed in advance.

For questions about an order, a print, or anything else, please reach out through the contact form on this site and we will respond as soon as we are able.
